Torabhaig is based on the Isle of Skye and is shaped as much by the island as by us. From the two burns that feed us with the purest island spring water, the wilful climate which governs the rhythms of the distillery, to the inspiration we draw from
the rugged beauty of the wild landscape that surrounds us, our whisky is just one more expression of Skye, but through passion and determination we leave our mark as well.

The quest to find the balance between strength and refinement, between elegance and robustness, has been our obsession ever since we first day we fired up our stills. This is heavy peat.

Opening the second ever licensed Single Malt Scotch Whisky distillery on the Isle of Skye comes with a sense of responsibility, an obligation to do justice to heritage and
provenance. We must take nothing for granted and make our own contribution to the continuum of Single Malt Scotch Whisky. In short, to leave a legacy.
